Ponstan Forte contains mefenamic acid, an NSAID (non‑steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) designed for more severe pain and inflammation. It is effective for severe menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea), acute pain from dental procedures, muscle or joint strains, arthritis flare-ups, post-operative, postpartum, toothache, headache, and rheumatic pain.
Postinor 2 (Levonorgestrel) Tablets 2’s
Postinor-2 contains levonorgestrel 0.75 mg per tablet, a progestin hormone used exclusively as an emergency contraceptive, not as a regular birth control method. It is a two-dose regimen to take the first tablet as soon as possible (within 72 hours of unprotected sex), then the second tablet 12 hours later. Maximum effectiveness is 95% if taken within 24 hours, 85% between 24–48 hours, 58% at 48–72 hours. Works by preventing or delaying ovulation, affecting sperm transport, thinning the uterine lining to prevent implantation, and will not terminate an existing pregnancy, and does not prevent STIs.
